Eco-Friendly Shoes

Being green means passing the benefits onto others, which is why I recommend TOMS vegan shoes. They help those in need by giving a pair to a child in need for every pair you buy!

Just continue reading below our sponsored ads for some tips and advice on eco friendly fashion and going green.

On this blog I document a lot of my struggles concerning going green. However, most of this is limited to style and fashion. Ethical clothes are just one way to go green – there is so much else left to be done! But I don’t think it’s bad to just focus on one thing. After all, going green is about taking small steps all the time.

Ethical clothes have come such a long way in recent years, meaning that they are now widely available in comparison to the few that were available just a few short years ago. The good news is that the price is also coming down, and the fashion is going up – all in all great for anyone who loves fashion but hates what the industry does to the environment!

Learning About Going Green

The good news is that this increase in ethical clothes led to me being interested in going green, and starting this blog. But there’s so much more to learn!

For example, I have been researching the damage that the textile industry does on the environment. And in doing so I soon learn a lot about manufacturing that I didn’t know before, then I learn a lot about waste, then I learn about emissions…. do you see where this is going? One eco-friendly thought leads to another!

Why This Is So Important

So, even for those who purely buy ethical clothes just because they are branded ‘ethical’, this is still a step in the right direction.

Small steps like this will hopefully enlighten many more people like me to think outside of their normal way and start re-evaluating their lives!
