If you are anything like me then you probably have a closet full of clothes, yet you often find yourself without anything to wear! No matter how many dresses I may already own, I still find it hard to find the perfect one – often leading me to go out and buy yet another dress! But I have recently started looking at the concept of recycled fashion to change by attitude.
Recycled fashion can mean a lot of things, but for now I’m talking about recycling my own clothes. It might not seem to make sense, but if you’re like me and don’t end up wearing half of them then this is definitely going to help the environment!
Sort Through Your Clothes
When you sort through your clothes it pays to set aside a good length of time to do so. You don’t want to go into this half-heartedly. It will take a while to check everything properly!
Take clothes out one by one and try each and every item on. You should think about whether it really suits you now. Just because you used to look good in it doesn’t mean it still looks good, and vice versa.
If you don’t fit into your clothes then don’t keep them forever in the hope that one day you’ll go on a diet. Although this is very hard, you’ll be doing some good by getting rid of a few items of clothing and donating them to your local charity shop.
If you want more tips on recycled fashion – specifically your recycled fashion – then keep reading them as I will be posting more in a few days! Check back next Tuesday!!
